Not everybody dives down deep as easy and seemingly effortless as DMT Jerome does on this picture. Many DMT's find some obstacles on their path. These obstacles might not be dive-related though. Most great things are difficult to latch on to. No problem at all, take your time and build on your diverself consciousness.
A true DMT knows that de-hydration is always lurking. This does mean that one should drink a lot. There are some beverages however, that one might want to cut back from the night before diving. Who this unfortunate but unrecognizable DMT is?
Well, here's another clue.
The other day we saw this happening. A Korean DMT tangled up in the rope of his safety sausage.
When he finally saw himself freed, he filled his sausage with his octopus. Sadly enough he, by now had sunk to approximately 8 meters deep. The rope of the safety sausage is only 5 meter. It happens to us all.
This is yours truely a year ago. At that point a starting DMT; what did I know? The meaning of the skill 'Hovering' is to actually hover. Not sit on the bottom looking up. And have you noticed the doubled up right ear? Yep, the mask strap: beginner!
Correct usage of fins doesn't mean moonwalking over Japanese Garden's sea bottom, as shown here bylegendary strict instructor Shu. Even she made mistakes like this when she started her diving career.
This is yours truely photographed quite recently. Yep, I'm in the back thinking I'm in the correct positionfor a picture. Actually, Jia Ping - the Open Water Diver in the front - figured out far sooner than I didwhat was up and what was down. I guess some people need some extra time to master the buoyancything. Which at Buddha View isn't a problem because during your DMT there is a limitless amount offun dives waiting for you. |
